She graduated in Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies in 2005, University of Milan, where she also achieved a Ph.D. in Endocrinological and Metabolical Sciences in 2009. From 2005 to 2009 she worked with Prof A. Poletti, University of Milan, on the pathogenetic mechanisms associated to motor neuron neurodegenerative diseases (ALS and Spinal Muscular Bulbar Atrophy). She has been working in the lab as a Post-Doc Researcher since 2010 studying RNA metabolism and post-transcriptional processes regulated by the RNA Binding proteins TDP-43 and FUS in ALS.
